As we mentioned before, we will organize some events to welcome and celebrate Jay's 2010 birthday! It's been hard for him since last few months, so we gonna cheer him up and make 25th April 2010 a special one for him!

After our last project, Voices for Jay, we are now presenting you a lunch gathering/party with all our peeps - Birthday Party for Jay at Seoul Garden Restaurant!

Most important is, we are collaborating this with our sister site, MYHOTTEST2PM to celebrate Wooyoung's birthday as well. :)

Here's a message regarding a talent quest event organized by Korea Plaza, IMAFIGHTERFORJAYPARK, as one of the Malaysia's KPOP fandom is supporting this event, and would like to send our representatives to this competition.

In conjunction with ‘Korea Be Inspired’ Festival 2010 and ‘Visit Korea Year 2010 – 2012’, the Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) is organizing a Korean Wave Contest.

The competition is open to all Malaysians and K-pop fans in Malaysia. Participants are required to perform on either Korean song, dance and impersonality show. Participants would be judged on their singing/dancing ability, stage performance and costume. Participants are required to prepare their own minus one music. They can contact KTO for further assistance.

The competition offers many attractive prizes:-

The justalilhype! Crew got a chance to briefly talk to Jay Park (Park Jaebeom) also know as the former leader of Korean group, 2PM.

He attended the Battle of T.N.G: Just Battle, as a contestant with his current b-boy crew: Art of Movement. We introduced the magazine to him, and also got a few shots of him throughout the event. Even though he was reluctant to shoot still shots with fans until the end of event, he was friendly nevertheless and talked to many of his female admirers throughout the event. As much of a superstar he was back in Korea, he kept a low-key presence and treated all other b-boys of the event with respect and enjoyed himself throughout the event.

Although Art of Movement didn’t win the finals, their performance was one of the most anticipated portion of the night. Out of the A.O.M crew, Jay was the first to show his moves.

During his performance, not only did we hear a high level of abundant cheering and screaming from his female-fans, but he was also to exemplify his skills as a b-boy, and proved to the world that he has never left the scene as being an artist.

A week ago, he actually released a video on YouTube out of his own time and performed a cover of “Nothing On You“. With the recent reappearance of the video and his visit to Vancouver for a break battle, Jay Park makes people wonder what is next for this multi-talented young individual that has once stepped upon the spotlight of the Korea entertainment industry and now resides in Seattle where he is focusing on breakdancing with his crew: Art of Movement.

In the end, we heard that AOM didn't manage to get into the finals, and according to Chacha's Facebook status update:

Hello fighters!
As you guys know Jay's birthday is coming on 25th April, which is 6weeks from now. Of course we're going to do some projects for him!

There will be 2 projects we're going to do which is one an audio project - Voices for Jay and another one will the gifts for Jay!

We will send both to Jay at Seattle as his birthday gift under IMAFIGHTERFORJAYPARK.com together with the AOM tshirts/stickers we're sending to AOM.

For now, I will first post the details for Voices for Jay and for the gifts, I will post after I'm done with the pictures alright.

To make it simple, this is an audio message for Jay, instead of videos, we will gather everyone's voice and love for Jay. Then mix it with a song and make into one audio file. Lastly, we will burn it and send it together with the gifts! :)

Los Angeles - If you pay any attention to Asian Entertainment news, you can't miss the story on Asian pop star Jay Park (AKA Jaebeom Park). His story broke in early September 2009 when the Korean press published comments he made on his MySpace page in 2005 before he had made it big and was a young trainee at JYP Entertainment, expressing his frustration with life in Korea. Taken out of context, his comments were misinterpreted by the Korean media and in the course of three days, bombarded by attacks, Park decided to leave his band 2PM and to go back to Seattle which he now calls home.

The mood quickly changed in Korea after he left when the press and public discovered that his MySpace posts from five years earlier had been terribly misinterpreted. Instead of hate, he gained sympathy. Support for the young performer quickly grew in both South Korea and internationally resulting in silent protests and flash mobs in many different countries and tweets about Jaebeom (and Jaebum) hitting No. 1 trending topic on social media sites like Twitter.

JYP Entertainment seemed to acknowledge his marketing power and used his name in all of their promotion for the new 2PM album in October. Most Asian fans supported the group hoping to see Jay Park back with the group but in February 2010, the company terminated his contract. Many fans are saying that it's a calculated act due to the fact that the group 2PM is doing fine without Jay Park now and the company cut him loose. The cry for him to return is loud and clear. Many Korean fans left the 2PM fan clubs in thousands and tweets for him passed Oscar topics on the night of the Oscars itself to be the #1 trending topic.

As an executive in the digital entertainment space, I am intrigued by all the buzz around Jay Park on Social Media. As an international student and an Asian, I feel his pain. He was so young when he left his family for a foreign country, adjusted to new foods and culture and went through the tough training required to become an Asian pop star. As a daughter and a mother, he gets my support. He had said many times in interviews that the adjustment to Korean life was difficult but he did it for his family. He was there for his family to have a better life, to buy nice things for his mother.

Yes, the Jay Park story is full of heart. People support Jay Park because he took responsibility for his actions and seems so genuine unlike the big entertainment company JYPE. I don't think he is even aware of marketing power he currently has. This week he released his first video since leaving Korea. Meant for his fans, it was RAW (he sings in the bathroom) and was posted on Art of Movement's official Facebook page. Within two days it reached over 2 million views on YouTube. The song he covered "Nothin' on You" is now #1 in Korea on Cyworld Music charts and is currently #2 on iTunes sales today.

I think this is just the beginning for Jay Park. If any Asian artist can make the difficult "crossover" to the American music entertainment market, I think he could be the one. He already has a big international fan base, and he is living proof of the power of social media.

Jaebum's Situation Hurts My Heart

It happened last September. Like a horde of alligators attacking for food, Korea’s netizens ripped him to shreds. “Return to your country” and “Yankee go home” were some of the less harsh comments. Awful words such as “Suicide Petition” and “Amputation of all Four Limbs Petition” upended the internet all in one morning.

In four days, he returned to Seattle where his mother was. The name “Park Jaebum” became ingrained in my mind after I saw the video of his mother greet him at the airport through the internet.

When I saw the mother who most likely cried on the inside as she warmly hugged her son, who was locked in despair, it did not just feel like another person’s business.

After he left Korea, the atmosphere changed in an instant. It was discovered that his words that were at the root of the problem were actually mistranslated with bad intentions to slander him. After this, popular idol group 2PM’s leader Park Jaebum became more well-known by the day. After the third generation young Korean-American man was unjustly forced out of Korea, it looked as if his return to show business was certainly to be expected.

However on the 25th of February, the entertainment company unexpectedly announced Park Jaebum’s permanent withdrawal. The reason they gave was because of his immoral personal life. This reason that was announced by the entertainment company was more than enough bait for the netizens and the press.

Again like starved coyotes, it was obvious that they were going to attempt to try and find out what his immoral personal life was like. When I realized that they were killing Park Jaebum twice over through the evils of the internet in Korea, where human rights do not exist, where he was put in a situation where he cannot even defend himself, I could not contain my sadness.

However, my prediction was wrong. It was shocking. Surprisingly, after the announcement by the entertainment company, the public was showing boundless faith in Park Jaebum.

It was hard to find any antis attempting to witch-hunt. It was almost suspicious as to how this could happen on the internet in Korea.

Now with the past revealing his complete absorption in his training in his unfamiliar motherland, his tearful love for his parents who were far away, the thorough self-discipline through which he would not drink or smoke because of the dream he wanted to achieve, the cheerful way in which he learned more about the Korean society, this third generation Korean-American’s pureness and humbleness has grabbed a hold of the hearts of the netizens.

The general public who are defending him do not seem like they are coming from his young female fans. Men in their thirties and forties and housewives who are over fifty are, on various message boards and blogs, revealing their opinions. They are embracing the broken dream of the third generation young Korean-American man that was so appallingly stomped on and ripped under the large entertainment company.

On the other hand, the group members that pointed the arrow of betrayal towards him, their personal lives are being exposed uncontrollably. Because they were fans all this time, they glossed over and hid the members’ two-faced personal lives, but now without any filters, their personal lives have been revealed to the point where the internet is about to explode.

The fanclub of the members has been voluntarily closed under the manager, and the members of the fancafe are leaving in mass amounts. This is an unprecedented extraordinary event that is happening in the history of Korean show business and the internet.

The regrettable part is that at the cross section where he is being given both moving faith and dirty betrayal, where he has already once experienced horrible despair, he is again being given an incurable wound from his motherland itself.

His mother has said even as she is going through this current situation, “I am able to hope rather than despair when I see the maturity that Jaebum is showing even though he is put in a situation where he could despair over all of the rumors.”

Even though he was ripped and wounded to the point where he was thoroughly hurt, I wonder if his mother’s feelings are that because this is the country of her mother, the homeland of her son, she has no choice but to stay silent and can do nothing but forgive. When I think of his mother, who has probably countlessly repressed the tears that have been exploding from deep within her heart, my heart gets choked up.

Hello fighters!
Yes, as titled, we're looking for FORUM CODERS/DESIGNERS.
As many requested, we decided to open a forum, but problem is, we're not that good in forums. So, we will be glad if anyone can help out with the coding and stuff. :)

Meanwhile, we are now planning for Jay's birthday project, anyone have any suggestions or ideas, do let us know! p/s: you can reply under this post, we will read it. :)

Besides that, we updated our ABOUT US page, do spread us around because we're hoping people will start to know us and join us, so our project for Jay can proceed smoothly with the support of everyone. :)

Another update is, as we mentioned before, Jay will be featuring in one of Chacha's song that will be recorded in his new album , and according to Chacha status update on Facebook, the album scheduled to release in June! Please look forward to AOM Chacha music, and also show our Jay support after all the dramas! :)

"When you’re feeling falsely accused, let’s look at God’s bigger picture" - Jay's Pastor

When you’re feeling falsely accused, let’s look at God’s bigger picture.

If you watch the movie about Joseph’s life story, there is a scene where Potiphar’s tries to seduce Joseph. Potiphar’s wife says to Joseph, “Joseph, spend the night with me,” to which Joseph replies, “I don’t like middle-aged women who are old and ugly like you.” When Potiphar’s wife grabs Joseph’s clothing, he leaves his clothing behind and runs away. She becomes extremely mad and her goodwill towards him turns into rage. She shouts in a loud voice that this slave tried to dishonor me. The scene changes and it shows Potiphar holding a trial in front of the whole household. Potiphar’s wife shouts that Joseph must die. Joseph insists that he is innocent. However, in the end, Potiphar decides to put Joseph in prison. The scene changes again and shows Potiphar’s bedroom. It shows Potiphar’s wife turning on her husband in a fit of rage, “Why did you not kill the one that tried to disgrace me? Don’t you think that just sending him to prison is not enough?”

Potiphar says this, “I believe Joseph. I know that he is not that type of person. You were the one that intentionally tried to seduce him, right?” In this scene, as he says this, he hits his wife. I could not continue watching because I felt that this [movie] did nothing for my devotion. In the Bible, there are those who are falsely accused. The first is Jesus, and the second is Joseph. Joseph was sold as a slave to Egypt because of his brothers. Even in Egypt, where he was serving his owner, Potiphar, he was put in prision because he refused the seduction of Potiphar’s wife. Potiphar knew that his wife was not living a virtuous life. At the same time, he also knew of Joseph’s loyalty and religious belief when he put Joseph in command of the whole household. If he really thought that Joseph was guilty, he would not have simply put Joseph in prison. He would have killed him. At the time, the owner had the power to decide whether a slave should live or die.

Joseph was the sacrificial lamb for Potiphar’s honor. Potiphar sent Joseph to prision knowing he was innocent to protect his and his wife’s honor. There was a rumor that that Caesar’s wife also had an affair with another man. This turned out to be false. However, Caesar still cast out his wife. The reason? It is because Caesar believed that “there should not be any rumors about the wife of Caesar”. This is because of the characteristic of the men who cared more about their honor than the truth. That is why Joseph was falsely accused and sacrificed to save Potiphar’s honor. Joseph did not fight with people to try and convince them that he was innocent. He only cried to God about his false accusations. This is also important to us as believers. Joseph was put in prison under false accusations, but it turns out that prison was a shortcut to meet the king.

Right now, there is someone who is by my side that is also suffering from unspeakable false accusations. He is suffering from all sorts of rumors and gossipers. To save their own honor, they are making a young man and his parents suffer. It may look bad now, and even though you feel falsely accused, if you just trust and follow the way that God is leading you, it will turn out to be the fastest shortcut. When you feel falsely accused, you need to place your complete trust in God, who is creating the bigger picture. This is because God’s way of thinking is different from the way humans think. You could resolve it by retaliating like regular people. You could also resolve it by explaining. However, none of these solutions can completely resolve false accusations. Nevertheless, later on, when you look back at the way God has led you, it will have been the shortcut not to false accusations, but the shortcut to receiving blessings.

UNDERGROUND Official Statement after Jaebum's mother post

2 월 25일 JYPE가 재범군의 영구탈퇴를 공지한 후 기획사의 무책임하고 비인간적인 처사에 맞대응하고자 했었습니다. 어떻게든 훼손된 재범군의 명예라도 되돌려주고 싶었습니다. 하지만 6개월동안 각종 루머와 상처로 힘든 시간을 보냈던 재범군과 재범군 가족분들이 더 이상 이슈가 되는 것을 원치 않고 이 또한 시간이 흐르면 상처가 아물지 않겠냐며 그 어떤 대응도 바라지 않으셨습니다. 재범군과 재범군 부모님의 결정인만큼, 저희도 그에 따르기로 했습니다. 억울하고 분하지만 재범군이 원하는대로 해주는 것이 재범군을 위하는 팬들의 마지막 배려이자 사랑이라고 생각합니다.

On the 25th of February, after JYPE announced that Jaebum was permanently out of the group, because of their irresponsible and inhumane actions, we were going to fight back. We wanted to fix Jaebum’s ruined reputation for him no matter what. However, because Jaebum and Jaebum’s family have spent these six months with many rumors and hurt, they no longer want this to become an issue anymore. They also believe that time will make the hurt go away and they do not want the fans to respond. Because this is what Jaebum and Jaebum’s family want, we also will follow suit. Even though we feel that this is unjust and we’re furious, because this is what Jaebum wants, we feel that this is the last thing that the fans can do to show their love and consideration for him.

This is the message from Jaebum’s mother to the fans.

After we read this message, we realized that no matter how big the company, they cannot compete with Jaebum. Even though those people found one small fault and thoroughly shook up his life, instead of being hurt, we can see that he is just looking ahead towards his future and so we believe that no matter where he is, no matter what happens, he will become great. Before worrying about the huge wound that hurt their son more than anyone, the hurt that their son will have to continue to live with, his parents first thanked the fans. When we see how Jaebum’s parents have taken pains to take care of the other members since they were together with Jaebum once upon a time, even though they turned their backs now, we can see why, besides these people, there has only been good words about Jaebum.

Instead of believing the words of the company JYPE and the rest of the members that came out as their representatives, the company that throughout the six months, we couldn’t find the “honesty” that they consistently responded with, with statements that what they were saying is true for four hours, we choose to believe in Jaebum’s honesty, as he is the one who has shown us his unchanging self ever since his debut. That is why we believe that the way to show him [that we believe in him] is like we have done until now, we need to continue to support and root for the person Park Jaebum.

Like we have done until now, Underground will continue to do good things for Jaebum and we will be his wings. We believe that Jaebum will be able to find his lost reputation through him continuing to show us his truthful self. Instead of supporting JYPE’s 2PM’s Leadja Park Jaebum, we will instead support "the person Park Jaebum” and we will support and hope that he will be happy wherever he goes. We hope that Jaebum and Jaebum’s parents can lay down this burden and go back to the way they were. We will never forget Jaebum and we will help him become happy. This is the best way to protest against JYPE, the company that from beginning to end only disappointed us.

From last September to February 27th, even though we were unable to get the results we wanted from these last six months, all of us from where we are currently, have done all we could for Jaebum. We are fully aware of the disappointment we all feel for being unable to get what we earnestly wished for. However, turning that sense of loss into anger and acting rashly will only come back to haunt Jaebum and all of us. We would be tearing down all of our own hard work through our own actions. We hope that you all will think twice before acting so that we and Jaebum can stand tall until the end.

We hope that the six members of 2PM will continue to have a good relationship with Park Jinyoung PD, the one that they admire so much and hope that they become the first entertainers to resign with JYPE. We earnestly hope that JYPE treats them as humans and not as a product that they are going to use and throw away.

We're glad that K-Hottests UNDERGROUND has decided to become Jay's wings, like us decide to fight for Jay's new stage, instead of fight JYPE.

We totally agree with what UNDERGROUND representative wrote, the best way to fight and protest JYPE is to make Jay happy and help Jay to become big even without that company.

So, let's forget the hate and ignore JYPE from now on, the more we provoke them the more they will hurt Jay Park. They are wise to know this, but we can't be stupid to fall into their trap anymore.

a new beginning

Dear all,
Since we decided to start a new afresh for Jay, we've deleted all the 50+ posts regarding Jay's controversies that were posted before Jay's contract as a 2PM member terminate by JYPE.

We are now no more fighting JYPE for Jay Park's role in 2PM, since it is already a fact they are giving up on Jay, instead of fighting pointlessly, it's better for us to focus on helping Jay and his b-boy dance crew found their new stage.

We believe Jay can still shine even though he can't stay in his previous company, and with the help of that company.

Meanwhile, we will also renovate this website, and definitely be more active right after this. IMAFIGHTERFORJAYPARK will be the first Malaysian fansite for Jay Park, and we might need more staffs after this.

Next, we've created IMAFIGHTERFORJAYPARK's Facebook Fanpage!
Please join and spread the page so that we can expand Jay's new fandom as soon as possible! :)

Beside that, Jay will be featuring in Chacha's new album. Chacha is a very kind young man, also Jay's friend in Art of Movement (AOM - Jay's bboy crew). We will be supporting his album to the max, as a appreciation to his kindness for taking care of Jay. (P/s: I heard some of the song and yo, it is good! More on that later! ^^)

More projects for Jay will come soon, so please stay tuned, and we're hoping for more fighter's help and support.

IMAFIGHTERFORJAYPARK created on 12th September 2009, few days after Jay left 2PM/Korea, original purpose was to gather Malaysia's Jaebum's fans in order to help him return to his rightful role in the group.

After 6 month of battle and determination, on the 25th February 2010, the company and six members of 2PM announced, "There's no possible for Jaebum to return as a 2PM member."

Even though we failed to protect Jay's stage as a 2PM member, we shall now fight for his new stage. He deserves better than this!

To welcome our new beginning, we've deleted all the 50+ posts regarding Jay's controversies that were posted before Jay's contract terminate by JYPE.

Jaebeom is not returning to 2PM
Yes. The worst has happened.

2PM’s ~~leader~~ Park Jaebeom has quit for good, after it was announced on JYPE’s website on February 25th, Hottests in Korea and from all over the world are in shock.

Excerpts from JYP Entertainment’s online letter:

“On December 22nd, 2009, Jaebeom confessed to Jung Wook representative that he had done something wrong during Again and Again promotions. Apparently, it was far more serious than his MySpace controversy.

The six other members were not notified then as they were busy with year-end activities. On January 3rd, 2010, everyone of us (along with the members) sat down for a discussion and came to an agreement 3 days later that it was no longer possible for Park Jaebeom to continue activities along with 2PM.

We thus decided to terminate our exclusive contract with Jaebeom.”

JYPE stated that Jaebeom’s social impulses were a private matter and will not be revealed. They expressed that it was difficult to reveal the details of Park Jaebeom’s offenders who had intruded into his privacy and posted the comments.

JYPE had planned for Jaebeom’s comeback back in November 2009, with the idea of a return in April 2010, to which Jaebeom himself agreed. The plan was for Jaebeom to return to Korea in the 3rd week of February 2010 and have a press conference before resuming activities with 2PM in April. This comeback news were all kept secret, with the aim of protecting Jaebeom and 2PM. But it has now all become void.

We can only hope that the JYP conference planned for the 27th along with the 2PM fan communities will proceed smoothly. Currently, 100 Hottests have gathered at the JYPE building in Seoul to protest at the point of writing.

When the media reported the Myspace incident and even after Jay apologized,
I thought it was nothing, and believe soon this storm will end.

When the antis sign petition against Jay and even want him to commit suicide,
I thought this is too ridiculous, and I sense something bad is going to happen, but I strongly believe JYP is a wise man that he'll never let this talented dude leave the group just like that.

On 8th September 2009,
I woke up and saw some Twitter messages saying:
"Jay is already on the plane now, we wish him all the best."
I was totally stoned, and then I cried like no other, while updating what's going on.

On 9th September 2009,
I cried, again and again, non-stop the whole day, and my fever is not helping either.
Everything seems tasteless to me, and it's like a long day to me.
I think and think, it doesn't make sense to me, all these happened to fast. And I got a bad feeling about this, every time I thought that I'll never see Jay on stage again, my tears start rolling down again.

But I told myself, never stop fighting, something need to be done to bring back Jay. As my internet connection is suck at my area, I couldn't even got into 2PM forums and update myself about the news, and so I emailed some international forums ask whether I can help, and about K-Hottest project and stuff, but, I was being ignored.

And I'm frustrated and helpless. I really wish I'm at Korea at that moment.

On 10th September,
Again, I cried like shit and my eyes are swollen that I can't even go out and meet anyone.

My sixth sense told me that all these really don't make sense to me! This speedy leaving is ridiculous. I thought, how could one newcomer decide by his own, leaving the group just like that. I strongly believed that the company staff and the boss has the power to stop him, IF they want to. With Jay status at the company, it's really impossible for him to make big decision like this. And then, I thought again, maybe the company wants him to leave, WHO KNOWS? If I'm some money-maker company, I would also sacrifice ONE to save ALL.

But then again, I'm exhausted. By reading all the articles, fan's messages and videos, I tried to convince myself that I shall respect the so called 'Jay's decision', and I even told myself, "Let it go, just let it go. It's over already." After all, this decision is made for the sake of 2PM, he already sacrificed, and i shall respect Jay's sacrifice.

Moreover after reading JYP's letter. I was so moved by the letter and I start to cry again, and this time was the worst, I cried like I've just lost someone so important, even though, I never met this guy before. I almost lost hope on bringing Jay back, and I really scared that there is this one day that everyone, forget about this whole incident, and Jay might be forgotten. Of course I love 2PM and want them to moved on, but, Jay is the one who bring me to 2PM.. so, 7-1=0.

I'm really tired that time that I fall to sleep crying under my blanket.

I really don't feel like wake up, because I'm too afraid to turn on my computer, because I know I'll update myself about Jay and 2PM again. But dang, life still goes on, I woke up after lying on bed like a corpse for the whole day, and as expected, I turn on the screen.

After I read some messages posted on some websites by the so-called Jay's friend - Chico, saying: "Jay was telling me yesterday that the only thing saving his career right now are his fans."

At this moment, I stopped crying.

I decided to stand up, stand strong, because Jay need us, need our strong determination to bring him back I told myself.

Something critical need to be done, it's no use we are crying and leaving messages telling we want him back, we want him back, BUT nothing has been done, and soon after, he will be forgotten and replaced. We need to start doing something, IF WE WANT HIM BACK!

And even God is helping me, I found one of the K Hottest contact and mailed her, and now I'm here typing this to everyone out there who love Jay Park, who want him back so badly, who has been crying for days after he left us...

JAY NEED US TO BRING HIM BACK, AND ONLY US CAN BRING HIM BACK.

As far as i know, most International Hottests does not support K-Hottests boycott JYPE, even though they understand why K-Hottests are doing so, but in order not to hurt the 2PM boys any further, they don't encourage a boycott.

We too, do not want to hurt the boys, but if we continue to wait and wait and wait, and do not do something critical, the company will just ignore us, and the possibility of Jay returning is even lower. So, imafighterforjaypark will not sit back instead, stepping out and fight for Jay! :)

So, to all the Hottests who think nothing can be done, we shall respect Jay's decision, and yes, I understand people who said Jay sacrifice for the sake of 2PM and think don't boycott JYP cos it will be a burden to Jay, and alright fine, you might not understand K-Hottest for boycotting...

I say, whether it is Jay's decision or the company decision, we DO NOT KNOW THE REAL TRUTH.

Even though we are not Koreans Hottests, and what we can do is so LITTLE, we will still try our very best to fight for Jay Park!
